Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent damage to your records and equipment. The M44-7 is designed for a standard 1/2 inch tone arm mount.
1. Mounting the Cartridge
- Carefully attach the M44-7 cartridge to your turntable's headshell using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure the cartridge is securely fastened.
- Connect the headshell wires to the corresponding pins on the cartridge. Typically, these are color-coded:

Adjust the anti-skate setting on your tone arm to match the tracking force. This helps balance the inward force on the stylus, ensuring even wear and optimal stereo separation.
