1. Twist and pull off the spray tip.
2. Rinse the tip thoroughly in mineral spirits. Do not use a pin or other sharp object to clear the stem, as this may damage the valve.
3. Replace the tip, ensuring the opening is pointing away from you.
4. If the can is partially used, invert it and spray for 2 seconds to clear the valve before storing.
