4. Drip Pan Installation: Slide the clean drip pan into its designated slot beneath the cooking surface. For virtually smoke-free grilling, fill the drip pan with approximately 1/2 inch of water before cooking.

Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils, as these can damage the nonstick coating. The main unit with the heating element is not immersible in water.
4. Clean Griddle Lid: The griddle lid can be washed with warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher.
