The Dorcy 4AA – 9 LED Lantern is a compact and durable handheld flashlight designed for general use and emergency situations. To prepare your Dorcy 4AA – 9 LED Lantern for use, follow these steps for battery installation:

1. Unscrew the front bezel of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise. This will expose the battery compartment.

2. Insert four (4) AA alkaline batteries into the designated slots. Observe the polarity markings (+/-) inside the compartment to ensure correct insertion. The negative end of the battery typically goes against the spring.

3. Once batteries are inserted, carefully screw the front bezel back onto the flashlight by turning it clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the O-ring seal is properly seated for water resistance.

1. Press the button once to turn the flashlight ON.
