The DMMW3 uses one CR2032 coin cell battery. If the low battery indicator appears on the display, or if the unit does not power on, replace the battery:

To power on the multimeter, rotate the Function Selector Dial from the OFF position to any desired measurement function. To power off, rotate the dial back to the OFF position (indicated by the power symbol ⏻).
