This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ARREGUI Plus C 180080 electronic safe. This safe is certified to Grade S2 according to European Standard EN 14450, offering high physical and electronic security. Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage. Ensure all included components are present: the safe, instruction manual, 2 user keys, owner's card, external power supply (micro USB or Jack connector), and fixing screws.

3.2 Инсталација батерије

The safe requires 4 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included) for the electronic lock. The battery compartment is located on the inside of the safe door. Open the safe using the key (initially, the safe is unlocked or can be opened with the factory default code if provided in a separate quick start guide). Insert the batteries, observing the correct polarity.

While no construction work is strictly required, it is highly recommended to fix the safe to a wall, shelf, or floor to minimize the risk of theft. The safe features pre-drilled holes:

• 2 holes in the base (14 mm diameter).

4.1 Dual Security System Overview

The ARREGUI Plus C 180080 safe operates with a dual security system, requiring both a correct electronic code entry and the physical key to open. This enhances security significantly.

4.2 Setting/Changing User Code

1. With the safe door open, locate the internal reset button (usually on the inside of the door or near the battery compartment).
2. Press the reset button. The display will show a prompt (e.g., "PROG").
3. Enter your desired new user code (3 to 8 digits) on the keypad.
4. Confirm the code by pressing the '#' or 'ENTER' button. The display will confirm successful programming.

4.3 Setting/Changing Master Code

The master code allows for additional control and can also open the safe. The procedure is similar to setting the user code, but may involve a specific sequence or a different button. Refer to the quick start guide for the exact steps to program the master code.

4.4 Opening the Safe (Normal Operation)

1. Enter your user or master code on the keypad. The display will show the entered digits or a confirmation message.

The safe will display a low battery warning message on the screen when the batteries are running low. To check battery status at any time, press the designated button on the keypad (refer to your quick start guide for the specific button). Replace all 4 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries promptly when the low battery warning appears to ensure continuous operation.

In case the internal batteries are completely depleted and you cannot open the safe, an external power supply can be used. The safe is equipped with an external micro USB or Jack power input. Connect the supplied external battery charger or any other compatible external battery pack to this input. This will temporarily power the keypad, allowing you to enter your code and open the safe to replace the internal batteries.

6.1 Incorrect Code Lockout

If 5 incorrect codes are entered consecutively, the safe's electronic system will temporarily lock, preventing further attempts for a short period. Wait for the lockout period to expire before attempting to enter the code again. Ensure you are entering the correct code and that the keypad is functioning properly.

Each ARREGUI safe has a unique engraved serial number. In case of lost keys, duplicate keys (model 18LLCF) can be requested. Due to the certified nature of the lock, key duplication can only be performed by an ARREGUI authorized Technical Assistance Service. To request duplicates, you will need to prove ownership of the safe by presenting your owner's card, purchase invoice, and the original key (if available).
