The Sew Mighty handheld sewing machine can be powered by 4 AA batteries or an optional 6V AC power adapter (not included).

2. Bobbin and Threading

The machine comes with pre-threaded bobbins. If you need to replace a bobbin or re-thread:

4. Thread the needle from front to back using the provided needle threader if necessary.

2. Lift the presser foot using the lever.
3. Place the fabric under the presser foot. The machine can handle a maximum seam thickness of 1.8mm.

• To start sewing, gently press the power button/switch. The machine will begin stitching.
• Guide the fabric smoothly with one hand while the machine stitches. Do not force the fabric.
• To stop sewing, release the power button/switch.

3. Securing Stitches

The Sew Mighty handheld machine produces a single chain stitch. To prevent unraveling, it is essential to secure the stitch at the end of your seam.

1. After completing your seam, lift the presser foot and gently pull the fabric away from the machine, leaving a tail of thread.
2. Cut the thread, leaving a tail of approximately 4-6 inches.
3. Manually tie a knot at the end of the stitch line to secure it. You may need to tie a double knot for added security.

• Чишћење: Regularly clean lint and dust from the needle area and feed dogs using a small brush or compressed air. Ensure the machine is off and batteries are removed before cleaning.
• Замена игле: If the needle becomes bent, dull, or breaks, replace it with a new one. Loosen the needle clamp screw, remove the old needle, insert the new needle with the flat side facing away from you, and tighten the screw.
• Складиштење: Store the machine in a dry, clean place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
