The Bluex Bulbs MP100/U/MED is a 100-watt Metal Halide ED17 bulb designed for high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting applications. Ово лamp can cause serious skin burn and eye inflammation from shortwave ultraviolet radiation if the outer envelope of the lamp is broken or punctured. - Ensure the power supply to the fixture is turned OFF at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
- Allow the existing bulb (if any) and fixture to cool completely before handling.
- Carefully remove the old bulb by unscrewing it counter-clockwise from the socket.
- Inspect the fixture and socket for any damage or wear. Ensure the socket is rated for HID lamps and can withstand a 4000 volt pulse.
- Gently screw the Bluex Bulbs MP100/U/MED into the E26 medium base socket by turning it clockwise until it is firmly seated. Do not overtighten or force the bulb.
- Ensure the bulb is properly aligned and not loose in the socket.
- Restore power to the fixture at the circuit breaker.

Once properly installed in a compatible fixture with the correct ballast, the Bluex Bulbs MP100/U/MED metal halide bulb operates by simply turning on the power supply to the fixture. Allow a brief warm-up period for the bulb to reach full brightness. Metal halide lamps require a cool-down period before they can be re-ignited after being turned off.
Key Operating Characteristics:
