2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise: Adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Note that the date will change when the hour hand passes midnight.

Chronograph Functionality

This watch features a 30-minute chronograph that measures to 1/20th of a second. The chronograph utilizes three sub-dials and the main second hand.

• Start/Stop Chronograph: Press the top pusher (button) to start and stop the chronograph.
• Reset Chronograph: While the chronograph is stopped, press the bottom pusher to reset all chronograph hands to zero.
• Understanding Sub-dials:
  • The main long second hand is for the chronograph (stopwatch) function.
  • The sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position is the watch's continuous second hand.
  • The sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position measures chronograph minutes (up to 30 minutes).
  • The sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position measures chronograph 1/20th seconds.

INDIGLO® Night-Light

The INDIGLO night-light illuminates the entire watch dial for easy readability in low-light conditions. To activate, simply press and hold the crown (pusher at 3 o'clock).

Your Timex Expedition watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This makes it suitable for snorkeling and swimming. However, it is not recommended for diving.
