4. Подешавање

4.1 Почетна монтажа

  1. Монтажа тестере: Securely mount the band saw to a stable workbench using appropriate fasteners (not included). Ensure the saw is level and cannot tip during operation.

4.2 Blade Tension and Alignment

The band saw blade comes pre-assembled. Before first use, verify the blade tension and alignment. Refer to the markings on the saw for correct tensioning. The blade should be centered on the wheels and run smoothly without wobbling.

  • За укључивање: Press the green 'ON' button. The motor will start, and the blade will begin to move.
  • За искључивање: Press the red 'OFF' button. The motor will stop, and the blade will slow down. Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop before leaving the machine.

5.2 Подешавање висине кошења

The blade guard is adjustable for cutting heights up to 80 mm. Loosen the locking mechanism for the blade guard and slide it up or down to the desired height, ensuring it is just above the workpiece. Tighten the locking mechanism securely.

5.3 Технике сечења

  • Прави резови: Use the parallel guide for precise straight cuts. Adjust the guide to the desired width and lock it in place. Feed the workpiece slowly and steadily against the guide and into the blade.
  • Miter Cuts: Adjust the saw table to the desired angle (0° to +45°) as described in Section 4.1. Secure the workpiece and feed it through the blade.
  • Закривљени резови: For curved cuts, do not use the parallel guide. Slowly guide the workpiece freehand, following your marked line. Avoid forcing the material, especially on tight curves.

6. Одржавање

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your band saw. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Чишћење

  • After each use, clean the saw dust and debris from the table, blade area, and motor housing using a brush or vacuum cleaner.
  • Ensure the dust extraction port is clear.

6.2 Замена оштрице

When the blade becomes dull or damaged, it must be replaced. The Parkside PBS 350 A1 is compatible with standard 140 cm band saw blades up to 12 mm wide.
