5.1. Testing Cylindrical Batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, N, CR123A, CR2, CRV3, 2CR5, CR-P2)

  1. Place the battery into the appropriate slot on the tester, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the tester's contacts.
  2. For AA, AAA, C, D, N, CR123A, CR2, CRV3, 2CR5, CR-P2 batteries, gently push the battery down to make firm contact with both terminals.
  3. Observe the LCD display. The bar graph will show the battery's charge level.

5.2. Testing 9V Batteries

  1. Locate the two small contact points at the top of the tester, specifically designed for 9V batteries.
  2. Align the 9V battery's terminals with these contact points and press firmly.
  3. Read the battery status on the LCD display.

5.3. Testing Button Cells (1.5V and 3V)

  1. Place the button cell into the designated small circular slot on the tester.
  2. Ensure the battery makes good contact with the metal terminals.
  3. The LCD display will show the charge level.
