Both the base station and the outdoor sensor require 3 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included).

2. Outdoor Sensor Mounting and Placement

- Ensure the rain collector is level for accurate rainfall measurement.
- The wind vane should be able to rotate freely.
- The sensor can transmit data up to 150 meters in open space to the base station. Consider this range when choosing a location.
- Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the sensor firmly.

3. Initial Power-On and Sensor Pairing
After installing batteries in both units, the base station will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This pairing process may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range during initial setup.
