The LumeGen Universal Tube supports both Type A (ballast compatible) and Type B (ballast bypass/direct wire) installations. Always ensure power is OFF before beginning installation.

4.1. Type A (Ballast Compatible) Installation
This method uses your existing electronic ballast. Ensure your ballast is compatible with LED T8 tubes. Refer to your ballast's specifications for compatibility.

The LumeGen LED Universal Tube features a convenient switch to select your desired color temperature.
- Ensure Power is On: After installation, turn on the power to the fixture.
- Locate the CCT Switch: On one end of the LED tube, you will find a small slider switch labeled with color temperature options (3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 6500K).
