Before first use, fully charge the Beurer IH 49 Inhaler. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically provides power for up to 4 treatments.

5.2 Assembling for Use

1. Ensure the medication chamber is clean and dry.
2. Open the medication chamber and carefully pour the prescribed liquid medication into it. Do not overfill.
3. Close the medication chamber securely.
4. Attach either the mouthpiece or the appropriate mask (adult or child) firmly to the top of the medication chamber.

6. Operating the Inhaler

6.1 Starting Inhalation

1. Press the power button to turn on the device. The device will start nebulizing at the strongest setting by default.
2. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth or position the mask comfortably over your nose and mouth, ensuring a good seal.
3. Breathe slowly and deeply through the mouthpiece or mask.
4. The device operates quietly, making it suitable for use without disturbance.

6.2 Adjusting Nebulization Strength

The Beurer IH 49 offers two nebulization strength settings. Press the power button once to switch between the two settings. The strongest setting is activated by default upon power-on.

6.3 Ending Inhalation

When the medication chamber is empty, or your prescribed treatment time is complete, press and hold the power button to turn off the device. Always ensure the device is turned off after use.
