Follow these steps to set up your BrosTrend AC1200 Outdoor WiFi Access Point.

3.1. Install Antennas

1. Remove the black plastic caps from the antenna connectors on the access point.
2. Ensure the white rubber gaskets remain in place on the connectors. These are crucial for maintaining the device's waterproof performance.
3. Attach the two detachable waterproof antennas firmly to the antenna connectors.

• Via a standard 802.3af/at/bt PoE Ethernet switch (not included): Connect the PoE/LAN port of the access point to an available Ethernet port on a standard PoE Ethernet switch using a PoE Ethernet cable.

Once powered on, the access point's LED indicator will blink slowly in orange during startup.

3.3. Initial Web Management Page Setup

To configure the access point, connect a wireless device (smartphone, laptop) to one of its default WiFi networks: БросТренд_ЕКСТ or BrosTrend_5GEXT. Тхе web management page should automatically appear. If not, open a web browser and manually enter the address found in the printed installation manual (e.g., http://brostrendwifi.com).

• Flexible Uplink Options: Supports both wired uplink to your main router and Extender Mode, allowing it to wirelessly connect to your router and extend WiFi outdoors without an Ethernet cable for data.

5. Installation and Relocation

The BrosTrend AC1200 Outdoor WiFi Access Point supports both wall mounting and pole mounting for flexible placement in your outdoor areas.
