2. Initial Power-On and Radio Signal Reception
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically power on and begin searching for the DCF-77 radio signal. This process may take several minutes. During this time, a radio signal icon will typically flash on the display. Once the signal is successfully received, the clock will automatically set the correct time, date, and weekday.
- Place the clock near a window or in an open area for optimal signal reception.
- Avoid placing the clock near electronic devices that may cause interference (e.g., TVs, computers, microwaves).
3. Manual Time Setting (Optional)
If the radio signal cannot be received or if you prefer to set the time manually, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the "SET" button (refer to Figure 2 for button location) for a few seconds to enter manual setting mode.
- Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
- Press "SET" again to confirm the setting and move to the next parameter.
- Repeat until all desired settings are configured. The clock will exit setting mode automatically after a period of inactivity or by pressing a specific "MODE" button if available.

1. Time Display (12/24 Hour Format)
The clock supports both 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour time formats. To switch between these formats, press the "12/24" button (or a similar button, refer to Figure 2 for button identification). The display will update accordingly.

The current date (month/day) and weekday are continuously displayed. The weekday can be shown in one of seven selectable languages. To change the weekday language, enter the manual setting mode (as described in Setup, Section 3) and navigate to the language setting, then use the adjustment buttons to select your preferred language.
