Installation with LATCH:

1. Place the car seat in your vehicle. The taller side of the base should always be against the back of the vehicle seat.
2. Loosely attach the tether hook to your vehicle's tether anchor. Refer to your vehicle's manual for location.
3. Squeeze the rotation handle on the front of the car seat base and swivel the seat to face you (side view).
4. Squeeze the release handle on the front of the car seat while lifting the car seat off the base and flipping it over to the opposite side.
5. The vehicle belt lock-off must be closed before routing the lower anchor belt.
6. Remove the lower anchor belt from the storage pocket.
7. Locate the belt path. Weave the LATCH connector with the adjuster in and out of the blue belt path and attach both connectors to the lower anchor system.
8. Check that the belt is flat and not twisted.
9. Place your hand in the base and firmly push down on the base. Pull the belt parallel with the belt path to tighten. Tension Indicators will begin to turn green. Both indicators will turn completely green when the LATCH is properly installed.
10. Check to confirm the base is tightly installed by pushing and pulling from side to side. If it moves more than 1 inch, reinstall.
11. Lastly, tighten the top tether strap.

Re-attaching Car Seat to Base:

1. Flip the car seat back over and onto the base.
2. Push down on the front of the car seat until you hear a click, indicating it is locked into place.
