4.2 Initial C30S Driver Settings

To configure the C30S driver, follow these steps:

1. Motor Direction Conversion (P-036):
   • Set P-036 to 1 for opposite direction.
   • Set P-036 to 0 for forward direction.
2. Internal/External Enable (P-098):
   • Set P-098 to 1 for internal enable.
   • Set P-098 to 0 for external enable.
3. Electronic Gear Ratio (P-029): The larger the value of P-029, the faster the motor speed. Adjust as needed for your application.

4.3 Pulse Signal Connection

• For 24V Pulse Signal: It is crucial to connect two 2K 1/4W resistors in series with the signals for P+ and D+. Failure to do so may result in damage to the driver.

4.4 Motor with Brakes Connection

If your motor is equipped with brakes, it requires an external DC 24V power supply and a relay for proper operation. Consult the motor's specific wiring diagram for brake connections.

5.1 Driver Menu Navigation

The C30S driver features a main menu for status monitoring, parameter settings, parameter management, and accessibility. Use the control panel as follows:

• POW (Power light): Indicates the servo is under voltage.
• RUN (Running light): Indicates the servo is enabled.
• ▲ (Add key): Increases serial number or value; long press for repeat effect.
• ▼ (Decrease key): Decreases serial number or value; long press for repeat effect.
• ◀ (Exit key): Exits menu, operation canceled.
• SET (Enter): Enters menu entry, parameter modification confirmation or operation confirmation.

To navigate the main menu (Tier 1), use the ▲▼ keys to select a mode (d-, P-, E-, A-). Press the 'SET' key to enter the second layer (Tier 2) for specific operations. Press the '◀' key to return to the main menu from the second layer.

• Driver Not Responding: Verify all power and signal connections according to the wiring diagram. Ensure the 24V pulse signal has the required 2K 1/4W resistors.
• Unexpected Speed: Adjust the electronic gear ratio parameter P-029. A larger value increases speed.
• Defective Servo Drive: If a servo drive is suspected to be defective, contact technical support for assistance.
• No ABZ Feedback: The C30S driver does not provide ABZ feedback. For applications requiring this function, consider using a T3D kit.
