The Baseus Smooth Writing 3 Stylus Pen is designed for Apple iPads with capacitive screens. Please refer to the table below for specific compatible models.

4.1 Power On, Pick-Up to Use Instantly

  1. Press and hold the power button to turn on the stylus. It is now ready to use.
  2. With a built-in intelligent program, the stylus automatically enters sleep mode after 3 minutes of inactivity. Lifting the stylus will reactivate it.

  3. Once Bluetooth displays “Connected”, the stylus’ blue light will stay on for 10s before turning off, indicating successful pairing.

Note: After the blue light flash for 2mins, the green light will stay on for 10s then turn off if no Bluetooth connection is made.

4.3 App Connection (for Bluetooth Version)

The stylus offers 32 customizable functions accessible with a single tap. Press the button on the stylus to switch between default functions, or access the Baseus App to manually choose and customize desired functions.

6.2 Real-Time Battery Display (for Bluetooth Version)

Monitor the battery status by checking the 3 LED indicators on the stylus or through Bluetooth on your tablet.

Please charge the product at least once every two months. If left unused for long periods, the battery may enter a dormant state and fail to charge properly.

Different versions of tablets and grip styles can cause signal strength fluctuations or drops, leading to writing interruptions. The Baseus App (for Bluetooth version) allows users to customize signal strength, enabling personalized adjustments based on device version and grip preference to ensure stable and smooth connectivity.

  • Check if the stylus is properly connected via Bluetooth (if applicable).
  • If the stylus enters sleep mode, lift it to reactivate.
  • Try restarting the stylus by powering it off and on again.

8.3 Battery Not Charging Properly

If the stylus battery is not charging, ensure the charging cable is securely connected and the power source is active. If the stylus has been unused for a long period, the battery might be in a dormant state. Try charging it for an extended period (e.g., 30 minutes) to reactivate it.
