4. Подешавање

4.1 Инсталација батерије

1. Unscrew the bottom cap of the otoscope handle.
2. Insert the required batteries (typically 2x AA, not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).

5.1 Укључивање/искључивање

To turn the otoscope on, slide the power switch located on the handle upwards. To turn it off, slide the switch downwards.

5.2 Light Adjustment

Some models may feature a rheostat or dimmer switch to adjust the intensity of the light. Rotate or slide this control to achieve the desired illumination level.

5.3 Performing an Examination

1. Ensure the chosen speculum is clean and securely attached.
2. Gently pull the outer ear upwards and backwards (for adults) or downwards and backwards (for children) to straighten the ear canal.
3. Carefully insert the speculum into the ear canal, avoiding excessive force.
