Physical Features and Components

The Mitel Aastra 6869i features a large color display and a comprehensive set of keys for efficient communication. Refer to the image below for a visual guide to the phone's components.

Follow these steps to set up your Mitel Aastra 6869i telephone.

1. Attach the Desk Stand: Align the desk stand with the slots on the back of the phone unit and snap it into place.
2. Повежите слушалицу: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the back of the phone unit (marked with a handset icon).

  1. Lift the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press an available Line key.

Advanced Call Functions

Using the Display and Soft Keys

The color display provides visual information about calls, menus, and phone status. The soft keys located directly below the display change their function based on the current context. Their labels on the screen indicate their current action (e.g., Pickup, Conf, Xfer, Voicemail, Home).

To access your voicemail, press the dedicated Говорна пошта button. Follow the audio prompts to listen to messages, change greetings, or adjust settings.

Access your phone's directory by pressing the Именик soft key or a dedicated button (if configured). Use the navigation cluster to scroll through contacts and press the Диал soft key to initiate a call.

Adjust the volume during a call using the Волуме Уп и Утишавање звука buttons. When the phone is idle, these buttons control the ringer volume.
