This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd Gen). The keypad is designed to easily arm and disarm your Ring Alarm system, offering convenient control and enhanced security features.

Before installation, ensure you have a Ring Alarm Kit, as it is required for the keypad's operation. The keypad can be installed in two primary ways:
- Zidni nosač: Utilize the Quick-Release Bracket for secure wall mounting.

The keypad connects to your Ring Alarm Base Station via Z-Wave technology, offering a range of up to 250 feet in open air with a clear line of sight. Power is supplied by an included AC adapter, and it features a rechargeable battery for backup operation.

Pairing with Your Ring Alarm System
- Ensure your Ring Alarm Base Station is powered on and in setup mode.
- Follow the instructions within the Ring app to add a new device.
- The app will guide you through the pairing process. If you encounter difficulties, ensure the keypad is within range of the Base Station and try again.
Operating the Keypad
The Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd Gen) allows you to manage your security system with ease. It supports three primary security modes:
- Разоружано: The system is off, and no sensors are actively monitoring.
- Почетна: Selected sensors are armed, typically for perimeter protection while you are inside.
- У гостима: All sensors are armed for full protection when no one is home.

To arm or disarm your system, enter your personal identification number (PIN) on the numerical keypad, then press the desired mode button (Home, Away, or Disarm).

Emergency Response Buttons
The 2nd Gen Keypad includes dedicated emergency response buttons for Police, Fire, and Medical assistance. Pressing any of these buttons will immediately trigger the alarm and initiate the appropriate emergency response, provided you have a compatible Ring Home subscription.
Важно: Activating any emergency button will sound the alarm. Use these buttons only in genuine emergency situations.

You can customize the LED behavior of your keypad through the Ring app. Navigate to the device settings for your keypad and select 'LED Settings'. Here, you can choose the 'Keep Mode Button Lit' option when the keypad is plugged in. Otherwise, the mode light will illuminate when motion is detected by the keypad's sensor.

The keypad includes a rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the provided AC adapter to the charging port. Ensure the USB plug is perfectly connected to avoid charging issues. A full charge ensures backup power during outagес.

To clean the keypad, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the device's finish and internal components.

- Keypad Not Pairing: If the keypad fails to pair with your Base Station, ensure it is within the 250-foot Z-Wave range and there are no significant obstructions. Try restarting the pairing process through the Ring app. If issues persist, contact Ring customer support.
- Проблеми са наплатом: If the keypad is not charging, verify that the AC adapter is securely connected to both the keypad's port and a working power outlet. The charging port is narrow, so ensure a firm and correct connection.
- Квалитет звука: In rare cases, users have reported initial scratchy sound from the keypad. This issue may resolve itself over time or with firmware updates. Ensure your Ring system is up to date.
