4.1 Attaching to a Tripod/Monopod

The ULANZI U-190 features a universal 1/4" & 3/8" thread for broad compatibility with various tripods and monopods. Use the included 3/8" to 1/4" adapter if needed.

4.2 Attaching the Detachable Handle

The handle can be screwed into either side of the fluid head for comfortable backhand or forehand operation. This allows for greater flexibility in achieving desired camera angles.

4.3 Attaching Your Camera (Arca-Swiss Quick Release)

The fluid head features an Arca-Swiss quick release system. Attach the quick release plate to your camera's 1/4" screw thread. Then, slide the plate with your camera into the fluid head's clamp and tighten the locking knob securely.

5.1 Panning (360° Swivel)

To pan your camera horizontally, loosen the bottom locking knob. The fluid head allows for a full 360° rotation. Tighten the knob to secure the desired panoramic position. The base features a 360° precision scale for accurate adjustments.

5.2 Tilting (+90°/-80° Movement)

To tilt your camera vertically, loosen the side locking knob on the handle side. The head supports a tilt range of +90° to -80°. Adjust to your desired angle and tighten the knob to lock it in place.

• Sticky Panning/Tilting: Ensure the respective locking knobs are sufficiently loosened. If the head is mounted on a tripod, check that the tripod's mounting screw is not overtightened, as this can cause friction.
