Upon receiving your FOXWELL RT280 PRO, carefully open the packaging box. Verify that all components listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present and undamaged. The device is securely packaged to prevent transit damage.

The RT280 PRO features a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge, locate the USB-C port, typically found under a protective cover on the device. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to the camera and a suitable USB power source. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.

To power on the device, press and hold the power button located on the control panel until the FOXWELL logo appears on the screen. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen shuts down. The device also supports adjustable auto power-off settings to conserve battery life.

The RT280 PRO offers 5 image modes: Thermal, Visible, Outline Fusion, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), and Overlay Fusion. The camera measures temperatures from -4°F to 1022°F (-20°C to 550°C) with an accuracy of ±3.6°F / ±2%. It automatically detects and displays the highest, lowest, and central temperature points on the screen. High/low alarms can be configured to alert you to anomalies, improving efficiency and safety during inspections.
