Insert the required batteries into the mouse, remove the USB dongle from the storage compartment, plug it into an available USB port on your computer, and switch the mouse's power button to the 'ON' position. The device should automatically install and connect.
Press the DPI switch button located on the top of the mouse (usually behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through the available tracking speeds, standardly 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI depending on your model.
